This day tour takes you around Ibukijima and Awashima, the westernmost autumn venues, by charter boat and bus.
On Ibukijima, you'll encounter art that vividly reflects the island's history and culture, including an artwork that recreates a marching band using recycled children's costumes.
Next, travel by sea to Awashima, overlooking the Shonai Peninsula. On Awashima, new works by two leading artists in the contemporary Vietnamese art scene will be on display in connection with the Vietnam Project. Additionally, you can view artworks that retrace the island's memories, utilizing abandoned boats and everyday items in vacant houses on the island.
For lunch, enjoy the ""Urara Ibukijima Bento,"" lovingly prepared by residents of Ibukijima, known for its high-quality ""Ibuki Iriko"" dried sardines.
Furthermore, on Saturday, October 11th, you can enjoy a special a cappella performance at the official art festival event, ""Setouchi Echo Heritage A Cappella Live!"", on Ibuki Island, where buildings and spaces with unique acoustics will be named ""Echo Heritage"" and perform a cappella singing.
