After visiting Megijima and Ogijima and enjoying a special dinner on Megijima, the climax of this special tour will be a performance of ""There's No Sound on That Planet - A Clockwork Universe,"" a theater opera by Oriza Hirata and Kaito Nakahori, at Kagawa Prefectural Arena (Anabuki Arena Kagawa).
This theater opera, the main event, is a sequel to the acclaimed ""Zero,"" and its theme is ""space and images."" It combines Hirata's contemporary colloquial theater, Nakahori's contemporary musical arias, advanced sound technology, and contemporary art to express a worldview of parallel worlds and multidimensional spaces.
Before the event, spend half a day enjoying Megijima and Ogijima. On Ogijima, houses line the slopes, creating a maze of narrow alleys and steep staircases. Enjoy a leisurely stroll while exploring the indoor artworks. Next, on Megijima Island, unique contemporary art installations, including the ""Small Shop Project,"" are scattered throughout, allowing you to experience art with all five senses. For dinner, head to Megijima's ""umiyado Onishun,"" where the island's chefs will show off their skills using fresh local ingredients.
